WTM FAQs
What differentiates WTM
Deep sonic interaction with Music. WTM transforms music from a soundtrack into a navigable spatial system—where instruments exist as embodied physical, interactive objects, and what you hear changes dynamically based on your movement and position in the space of the music.
Unlike today’s mainstream spatial audio systems that reproduce a single perspective with limited sonic interaction, WTM allows the user to listen from anywhere in the music, near or far.
What does WTM tech bring to the user?
Physical-based Interaction with Music
Vividly intense music listening experiences.
Heightened sonic realism; it makes people feel like they are where the music is being played.
An unprecedented degree of emotional connection with music content (e.g. “up close and personal” with the performing artist).
“Bionic Hearing” (sonic zoom) that allows users to hear much more detail in the music. It lets you focus on musical elements and hear the invisible–like a singer’s breathing.
Who offers 6DoF fully navigable music experiences?
Nobody. In today's mainstream music experiences, from music listening on Spotify to live-stream immersive music events on Wave, TikTok, or Fortnite, the music is presented as a pannable (3DoF) soundtrack, stereo or surround, with no ability to navigate within the music. Only WTM creates 6DoF navigable music scenes of sounds and instruments that are “geometrically integrated” in 3D audiovisual AR/VR experiences.
Can’t users navigate their music mentally?
Yes, but that kind of navigation typically requires training, experience, and deep familiarity.
WTM makes that navigation physical, intuitive, and accessible to anyone.
It doesn’t replace listening. It extends it into space—so anyone can deeply explore music from inside out to outside in.
Do I need special equipment to experience WalkThruMusic?
No. WTM can deliver a top-quality experience on any system from mobile devices with headphones, to full blown Dome / Sphere venues—and everything in between.
Can WTM experiences be produced using existing music assets?
Yes. All WTM experiences use standard stem-based music assets, either new, either from archived multi-track sessions, or from original stereo or mono recordings using AI-based demixing techniques.
What kind of music experiences can WTM deliver?
WTM’s patented technology covers a wide range of immersive music / audio experience spaces, for example:
Music Fantasy Experiences (interactive “next gen” music videos)
Live Music distribution
Music Games
Music Education / Training
Where can a user experience WTM?
WTM’s technology is capable of being experienced in various formats, for example:
At Home VR / AR Downloadable Experience (Headset)
Location based VR / AR
Dedicated Mobile or Desktop App
Gaming Platforms, such as Fortnite or GoDot
How does WTM connect to the upcoming generation of interconnected AR and VR environments?
Directly and deeply. WTM technology is built from the same 3D technologies upon which the world’s largest virtual environments (e.g. Fortnite) are built. WTM can be natively deployed within these 6DoF navigable environments to connect and elevate the music listening experience to the same level as their state-of-the-art visual experiences.
